HENNESSY UNVEILS THE HORSE EDITION, THE FIRST CREATION IN ITS NEW ZODIAC COLLECTION –

Hennessy has unveiled The Horse Edition, the first cognac in an exceptional collection dedicated to Chinese astrology, comprising 12 rare cognacs.

With only 50 of the masterpieces available worldwide, this edition ushers in an ultra-luxury series of cognacs inspired by the signs of the zodiac, each an outstanding assemblage created with unparalleled savoir-faire.

For this inaugural creation, Renaud Fillioux de Gironde, Hennessy’s eighth-generation Master Blender, has meticulously selected eaux-de-vie from the Years of the Horse. The resulting cognac is a powerful blend that reflects the noble stature and tenacity of the emblematic Horse.

“The Horse Edition is a rare cognac that embodies great finesse. Some of the eaux-de-vie it comprises seem to defy time — preserving a remarkable, almost timeless elegance,” says Renaud Fillioux de Gironde.

The Baccarat crystal decanter is engraved and painted by hand, and features a filigree golden equine motif that evokes the noble creature’s grace and vivacity. Two red and gold Chinese craftwork inspired knots symbolize success and luck, underlining the cultural resonance of the creation. An elegant red lacquered wooden box joins this tribute to exquisite craftsmanship.

Assembly and final touches are executed by hand at Hennessy’s Atelier des Éditions Rares in Cognac. Each coffret includes a hand calligraphed authenticity certificate and a leaflet that recounts the story of The Horse Edition.

The latest campaign joins previous shoots at iconic locations – including Casa Rotonda in Italy, Casa das Canoas in Brazil and Balthus’ Grand Chalet – featuring two cultural landmarks in the French village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence: the Colombe d’Or and the Fondation Maeght. High above the Mediterranean, Saint-Paul-de-Vence offers a timeless landscape where art, nature and family come together, a perfect home for the Loro Piana Spring/Summer 2026 Collection.

Drawing inspiration from the artworks that adorn the walls and gardens, models Jacqui Hooper, Long Li, Vasko Luyckx, Awar Odhiang and Binx Walton stroll through the properties dressed in the Maison’s warm-weather wardrobe with vibrant hues and effortless movement.  The collection’s unconstrained elegance features soft, fluid shapes where colors and materials blend, lensed against warm interiors with views of lush Mediterranean landscapes.

The campaign captures the spirit of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, a place where artists such as Braque, Miró, Léger, Giacometti, Chagall and Picasso returned again and again to find refuge, a place where inspiration takes root, where beauty is shared.
